How do you tell the story on the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Netherlands? For the commemorative coin on Schokland, minted by the Royal Dutch Mint, we chose to develop a concept on a broader theme: the Dutch’ everlasting fight with water.
Using this narrative point of view we were able to tell about the importance and significance of Schokland. Using 3D imagery helped us to illustrate the rising water levels and the flipping coin.
