Thanks to the strength of Jeffrey Hoogland and Kjeld Nuis we can interpret the unique achievement of Jaap Eden, a Dutch athlete who achieved a unique achievement around 1900 by becoming a world champion in long track speed skating and cycling in one year.
The Royal Dutch Mint has released the ‘Jaap Eden Vijfje’ to commemorate his achievements, for which we made this promotional film.
